Many Church events include the provision of refreshments ranging from cups of tea/coffee/juice through biscuits and cake to sandwiches, salads, hot dishes, puddings and wine/beer/soft drinks. There is a rota of providers of refreshments after morning service at the Churches, as well as occasional Open Breakfasts between the 8 a.m and 10.30 a.m. services.
Other events such as Hot Cross Buns on Good Friday, teas for the flower festivals, bring--share meals at house groups, and barbecues on Mill Green or in the Vicarage garden are generally organised on an ad hoc basis. This Harvest Lunch spilled out into the Churchyard.
