Thy Kingdom Come

‘Thy Kingdom Come’, 10 – 20 May 2018

‘Thy Kingdom Come’ is a global prayer movement that invites Christians around the world to pray for more people to come to know Jesus.  What started in 2016 as an invitation from the Archbishops of Canterbury and York to the Church of England has grown into an international and cross-denominational call to prayer.

It begins on Ascension Day, Thursday 10 May and ends on Pentecost, Sunday 20 May.

We have produced a prayer diary that is available in St Mary's, St Peter's and St Paul's that will help us to pray for our loved ones, or communities, our nation and the world. It’s available on our website below.

You can also download other resources to help you pray as a family or an individual, from the TKC website

Paul wrote in Colossians 4:2 :

"Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ".
