Parish Prayer Meetings

Monthly Prayer Gathering

Join us to pray for the work of our fellowship, for the communities in which we live and work, and for the wider church.

St Mary's Church (or Hannen Room), third Thursday of the month, Time: 8 - 9 p.m.

During the Coronavirus pandemic, this will be an online Zoom session between 12 noon and 12.30 each week.

Paul wrote in Colossians 4:2 :

"Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ".

Special Prayer Needs

Prayer is sometimes requested for particular needs in the Parish or for those with health or bereavement situations. Consult the Newsletter for any such requests.

Thy Kingdom Come 2020

Thy Kingdom Come - we may be aware more than ever before of the need to humble ourselves in prayer as we think of the way in which this pandemic has turned life upside down. Many are re-orientating their lives and as we pray 'Thy Kingdom Come' we are asking God to turn peoples' hearts to him. This year's Global initiative, which takes place between Ascension and Pentecost, will focus on 'Prayer & Care'. Daily prayer diaries are available for downloading here

Why not tune in for our Ascension Day service on Youtube (details below) as we set aside these 11 days for praying 'Thy Kingdom Come'?
Thurs 21st May - 19.30 til 20.00 - Ascension Day service and launch of 'Thy Kingdom Come' - broadcast on our Youtube channel
