The Parish of Wargrave with Knowl Hill is committed to the safeguarding, care and nurture of everyone within our community.
The Parish adheres to the safeguarding policies set out by the Diocese of Oxford, in accordance to Promoting a Safer Church, Recruitment of Ex-Offenders & The Code of Practice for DBS.

To report something to our Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO), please complete the online referral form. If you have any problems with the online form, you can download a copy and return it to safeguarding@wargravechurch.org.uk. Alternatively, please directly or contact her on 07769 704647.

If you are concerned that someone you know is at risk of, or is being abused, or presents a risk to others, please seek advice from a Safeguarding Advisor or if necessary report the matter to the Local Authority Social Care Services or the Police without delay.

DBS Administration
Certain roles within the parish that involve working with vulnerable groups, including children, require the applicant/holder to have completed a DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) check before their appointment. This entails a criminal records check of police records, and a check against lists of ‘Barred’ persons. Persons involved in our Parish in the administration of these processes are:
