Hannen Room
Situated at the junction of Mill Green and the Churchyard of St.Mary's Church, Wargrave, The Hannen Room is a comfortable meeting place for church, village and family activities. It can comfortably seat 30 and is equipped with a toilet and kitchen facilities including an electric cooker, microwave, cutlery, glasses and crockery. The nearby area of Mill Green provides easy parking. The room's original use was as the Engine Room for the Church's first electricity supply donated in the early 1900s by Mrs Harriette Smith (of Woodclyffe). Later it was used as a store for gardener's and sexton's materials, and then in 1976 was converted for use as a Parish Meeting Room, being opened by Nigel Hannen.
