Easter Lilies - Final Reminder
Including a Name
As we prepare for Easter, we once again invite you to donate towards the Easter lilies that will decorate the church, in memory of loved one(s) who are no longer with us.
If you would like a name(s) to be included this year, please complete this quick form or contact the church office by 7th April. Please note that the Parish Office will be unable to process requests received after this date, and therefore, there is a risk that the name may not be included.
Making a Donation
In Cash - please put it in an envelope and mark it for the attention of Lucy c/o The Parish Office. Either drop it into the Parish Office during office hours, or into the Lychgate Postbox at St Mary's Church. Please make sure you let us know who it is from on the envelope.
By Card/Online - if you wish to make a card donation, please click here and you will be taken to our donation page. Alternatively, pop into the Parish Office or call during office hours and we can take payment in person/over the phone.
VE Day
Thursday 8th May
VE Day Service Join us at St Mary's as we come together to commemorate VE Day with a special service of remembrance and gratitude, in collaboration with the Royal British Legion. This is a time to honour the bravery and sacrifice of those who fought for our freedom and to reflect on the lasting peace their efforts secured. Whether you have a personal connection to this historic day or simply wish to pay your respects, all are welcome to share in prayer, reflection, and community. We look forward to welcoming you.

Hope is Alive
Holy Week & Easter in the Parish
This Holy Week and Easter, we are offering a number of services and events to help us reflect, worship, and celebrate together. From contemplative gatherings to the beauty of Easter morning, there are opportunities for everyone to journey through this sacred season. Whether you join us for a quiet moment of prayer or a joyful Easter celebration, we hope you will be part of this special time as we remember Christ's sacrifice and rejoice in His resurrection.
Lucy's Ordination
Saturday 5th July
On 5th July, Lucy warmly invites you to witness her ordination at 2pm in Christ Church, Oxford.
This special service is where she will be formally set apart for ministry through prayer and the laying on of hands by the bishop - an important milestone in her journey of faith and service.
A coach is being arranged for those who would like to support her, departing at 11.30am and leaving Oxford at 4pm for the return journey. Exact timings and pick-up location will be confirmed closer to the date. To help manage numbers, and if you would like to reserve a seat on the coach, please RSVP.

The Office will be closed on Monday and Wednesday next week. We will be open as usual on Tuesday and Thursday 9.30am - 12 noon

We warmly invite you to reconnect with our Quiet Space for Prayer sessions, now meeting monthly on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. This peaceful time offers a chance to step away from the busyness of life and enter into stillness with God. Whether you’ve joined us before or are looking for a fresh way to nurture your spiritual journey, these sessions provide a gentle, supportive atmosphere for reflection and prayer. Take this opportunity to pause, pray, and renew your spirit.

CAMEO 2025

Thursday 17th April 2025
Every third Thursday of the month at 2.30pm, CAMEO meet in the Knowl Hill Village Hall to host various activities allowing you to have some fun and to take the time to meet and chat with others over tea & coffee.
February is an afternoon for card games.
